To First Presbyterian Church, Algona: Thank you for your donation of $500 made to the Algona Senior Citizen Center. We as a Board of Directors elected to share $250 of this donation to help support the “Meals on Wheels” program for 2017 which the Senior Center helps implement. Your donation was very much needed at this time by both of these organizations. We at the Senior Center continue to try to offer activities to the senior citizens in our area and are always appreciative of the area support that we receive. Please share with your membership just how much we appreciate their thoughtfulness. Sincerely, The Board of Directors, Active Senior Citizens of Algona

Dear Pastor Loren and Staff at the First Presbyterian Church of Algona: Thank you for sending me to camp. It was so much fun! My favorite thing about camp was playing a game called bonckers. It is a very hard game. You try and get all 5 colors of powder on your arms. There are bonckers that will squirt you with water and that means you are frozen. Then a medic comes to help you. Tom (one of the counselors) is really fast and I out ran him. Ava M. Petersen

Dear Friends, Thank you for your donation. We are very grateful for your generous support. Being an advocate for our mission, our summer camps, our year round retreats, and giving time, and attention to our facility, are all among the many contributions for which we are grateful. It is because of supporters like you, that we are able to continually nurture and promote the potential of Lakeshore Center. Our ministry is blessed because you understand the critical importance of supporting the present programming, insuring the future, and building for the next generation. I hope you can imagine many happy faces of the current and future generations who will reap the benefit through the years. God is indeed good and God has blessed us with this beautiful, sacred space. Thank you for helping us to grow the potential of Lakeshore Center at Okoboji. The rich heritage of this very special place will continue with your gracious help. As Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.” NRSV  I invite you to take time away from the busyness of life and come and experience that peace here at Lakeshore Center. Blessings, Beth Ehlers, Executive Director, Lakeshore Center at Okoboji
