Ash Wednesday Worship Service
Begin the season of Lent with us at our Ash Wednesday service, a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal. The service will include hymns, Scripture, a brief message, and the imposition of ashes.

Community Lenten Sunday Evening Services
The Presbyterian churches of Algona, Burt, and Lone Rock invite you to shared Sunday evening Lenten gatherings. On most Sundays during Lent, we will meet for: a light supper (soup and sandwich or similar meal), a brief video presentation, and a short group discussion.
These evenings are designed to be simple, welcoming, and meaningful as we journey through Lent together. Everyone is welcome—bring family, friends, and neighbors!
Each church will hold its own Ash Wednesday service at 5:30 pm.

First Presbyterian Church’s Worship on Wednesdays (WOW)
Wednesday nights are fellowship nights. First, we have food followed by worship. Our meal begins at 5:30 pm.
